Hailing from Sydney & Brisbane Austrailia, Datadex are Breaks & Enter residents Devastatin’ Dave & Dominic Lennon (DJL). This duo is constantly re-working songs to fit with their breakbeat sound and has received support by the likes of Krafty Kuts (Martin Reeves), Marten Boogie Army and Lady Wax - each having showcased Datadex’s work in their performances.
I have a few old mixes laying around that I feel worth sharing. I will be uploading these as I get time to do so. Here’s an an oldie-but-goodie from a couple years ago.
This mix features a bit more tear-out breaks in it than play these days, but never the less I thought I would post it for you. Enjoy!
I really want to go see the Stanton Warriors play @ Club Trinity in Seattle tonight for their weekly freeBASS events every thrusday. I’ll most likely be there consuming alcohol, chatting up a storm and dancing to some very great music.
Did I forget to mention there’s absolutely NO COVER?

Alright! It’s almost common knowledge that for the last few months I’ve been trying to decide between launching a website for the purposes of promoting myself as a DJ and electronic artist or… starting a music blog.
After weighing the two choices I’ve decided a music blog like this would be the fastest way to not only share my own material, but also the music I love so dearly. Eventually, a proper portal for my own personal endeavours will be up but I really wanted to get this blog going so that I can share any cool things I come across and give away anything I happen to come up with myself for free.
The good news is, you can expect tons of free music downloads, charts, mixes, guest mixes and articles to come - I’m talking the whole freaking bag of crayons.
